As a part of our dedication to Dobermans, we condition, groom, train, and look to the future with our breeding program.

Our goals are to breed and raise top caliber Dobermans and to better the breed.

My name is Kris Johnson, I'm 31 years old, born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, where I have grown up with dogs all my life. As a child I owned a variety of animals, but it was my dogs over the years, that made my interest grow from a pet owner to something more.

I first became interested in showing dogs when one day in March 1994 (just 15 years old), I rode my bicycle to the local dog show here in Louisville. When my friend and I went inside to see one of the largest All Breed dog shows in America, I knew right then I wanted to get involved with showing dogs.

Growing up as a student athlete, I've always been very competitive with sports and competing at a high level. I played many sports and achieved championships in anything I played. I bought my first show dog (Alex, my Golden Retriever) in 1997 and it was quite a learning experience. It was the first time in my life, that I was seeking a goal of a different type of championship.

After four years competing in the Golden Retriever ring, I decided to change breeds to my breed today, the Doberman Pinscher. I purchased my first Doberman (Cora) in 2001 from Dr. Emily Lutz of Old House Dobermans. I am very grateful that my first Doberman is Cora. Cora has always been a dream dog of mine and I feel pretty lucky that she has started my foundation as a Doberman breeder.

Today, I am competitively showing, breeding, training, and conditioning Dobermans for the conformation ring. In 2003 from Cora's first litter (my very first Doberman litter), I produced my first AKC Champion! Since my first litter in 2003, I have an American Champion, 2 International Champions, as well as multiple AKC Champion-pointed Dobermans.

I am highly motivated and a very inspirational person, that is dedicated to anything that I do. My goal is to better the breed and a produce the soundest Dobermans possible. With the hard work put in, the ultimate goal is to producer a better, healthier Dobermans that can win at the highest level.
